Striking arm movements, powerful poses, polyrhythms as well as social and party dances are integral parts of this expressive dance style. With its rich history in queer culture Waacking is a fascinating dance style that serves to express music through your unique personality.

CREATIVE WRITING // WORKSHOP
In this workshop you can experience writing as a possibility of expressing your creativity and find a way of self reflection. It can help giving your thoughts and feelings a new perspective. With some impulses and ideas we are going to write short texts, stories or poems spontaneously. It’s not necessary to have any experiences and the texts must not be read out loud. Just join us and bring some curiousity and an open mind. Everyone is welcome, get surprised by yourself. 🙂

Collaging // WORKSHOP
Course description – Collage workshop (EN version below)
Kursbeschreibung – Collagenworkshop
Der Kurs ist für alle Menschen geeignet, die sich gerne kreativ betätigen möchten. Vorkenntnisse sind nicht notwendig.
In einer Einführung erfahren die Teilnehmer Grundsätzliches über die Materialien, wie man Bildideen findet, was eine gute Bildkomposition ausmacht und wie Farben wirken. Wir erkunden, in welcher Reihenfolge wir am besten vorgehen und auf was zu achten ist.
Danach können die Teilnehmer selbst loslegen. Wir schneiden die Papierteile aus alten Magazinen aus, die dann zu neuen Bildern zusammengefügt und mittels Klebstoffs auf einem Hintergrund fixiert werden. Dabei gebe ich jedem Teilnehmer eine individuelle Hilfestellung.
Die Ergebnisse des Workshops werden völlig unterschiedliche Unikate sein.
The course is suitable for all people who like to be creative. Previous knowledge is not necessary.In an introduction the participants will learn basic things about the materials, how to find ideas for pictures, what makes a good picture composition and how colors work. We will explore the best order to proceed and what to look out for. After that, the participants can get started themselves. We cut out paper pieces from old magazines, which are then assembled into new pictures and fixed to a background using glue. In the process, I will give each participant individual guidance.The results of the workshop will be completely different unique pieces.
